The project takes inspiration from the IT University of Copenhagen aiming, after a deep analysis, to introduce it in the campus of the Faculty of Architecture in Bari. The layout tries to absorb surrounding spaces involving them in its spatial quality so that activities, users, and spaces meld into a cohesive whole. The goal has been to establish a building that supports and encourages social activities in many open study areas, increasing possibilities for informal and spontaneous contacts..

The building is organized around a central atrium, core of light collection and vibrant meeting area around which study and research areas are distributed. They are conceived in such a way that they create a rich and varied universe of visual and social connections across the atrium. The volumes of the auditorium and staircases gently interrupt the spatial continuity.he central space appears as a geometric installation of precisely shaped areas and meeting rooms. Hanging volumes, placed in a complex composition with different sizes stick out like drawers in the tall atrium.

Curtain wall glass facades consist of thin modular structures where horizontal stripes allow various obscuring degrees obtained with sandblasted, tinted, green and clear glass.Boundaries between public and private, a connection between outside and inside, free circulation of people and culture are the generating sources of this project.
